aredesignedtooperateinawidevarietyofapplications,itistheuser'sresponsibilitytoselectaswitchmodel

thatisappropriatefortheapplication,installitproperly,performtestsoftheinstalledsystem,andmaintain

allcomponents.Thefailuretodosocouldresultinpropertydamageorseriousinjury.

1. Thepressure,temperatureandelectricallimitationsshownforthespecifiedlevelswitchesmustnotbe

exceeded.

2. Thepressuresandtemperaturesmusttakeintoconsiderationpossiblesurgesinthetemperatureand

pressureofthesystem.

3. Theliquidsusedmustbecompatiblewiththematerialsofconstruction.Specificationsofmaterialswill

begivenuponrequest.

4. Lifeexpectancyoftheswitchvarieswithapplications.

5. Ambienttemperaturechangescanaffectswitchsetpoints,sincespecificgravitiesofliquidsvarywith

temperature.

6. Levelswitcheshavebeendesignedtobeshockandvibrationresistant.Formaximumlife,bothshock

andvibrationshouldbeminimized.

7. Excessivecontaminantsinfluidmayinhibitfloatoperation,andoccasionalwipedownmaybe

necessary.
